Subject : Intel – NVS Joint Contest 2006 on “Best Integration of Technology In Classrooms“ – Award Distribution Ceremony .

Sir/Madam,

 

As you are aware that, Intel (Intel Teach to the Future) is assisting JNVs in promoting Integration of Computer and information technology in teaching-learning process. To recognize the best performed Schools, Teachers and Students of the year, Joint Contest on “Best Integration of Technology in Classroom” has been organised every year since 2004. The contest for the year 2006 was launched during August, 2006 for categories of Teachers, Schools and Students of JNVs.

Response from Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas are more this year in comparison to previous years. Number of entries for all categories (Vidyalayas/ Teachers/ Students) are also increased and multi folded. Many of these entries were received on-line through internet. Some projects are very beautiful having perfect multimedia effects, very creative and things to learn.  These are not only showing the good effect of “ICT (Information Communication Technology) implemented by Samiti but also reflect interest of adopting the ICT by Navodayans.

 

All the entries were looked into carefully by the Intel team of evaluators in different rounds and the final selection of winners list is as given below :-

On behalf of Samiti, I congratulate all the above mentioned winners, specially the winning student teams.  They will be honoured in a colourful ceremony which is scheduled to be held in Delhi on 22nd January, 2007 A/N. The cash awards and certificates will be distributed through during this ceremony.

 

It is requested that, all 04 wining Principals, 04 teachers and all students as indicated herein  may pleased be asked to report by 10.00 AM at JNV – Mungeshpur on 20th January, 2007 positively. Winners coming for this ceremony should get their complete project, softcopy as well as hard copy (the one submitted as Contest Entry). Students are also to carry their school uniform which they may wear for award ceremony. The software will be checked for installation on 20th January, 2007 in the Computer Lab of JNV-Mugeshpur, Delhi. Exhibition will be set up in the award distributing venue (yet to be decided). All the participants will be relieved on 23rd January, 2007 (F/N).TA /DA will be given by NVS as per usual norms. Participation may please be confirmed by individual schools concerned on phone/FAX immediately
