Sub: Increase in mess expenditure w.e.f. 01/07/2007 in respect of all JNVs.

Ref.: 1-2/2007-NVS(Admn.) dated 5.7.2007

Consequent upon the reference received from NVS Regional Office/Principal of various JNVs and also in accordance with the approval of 39th Finance Committee of NVS held on 8.5.2007. It has been decided to revise the rates of mess expenditure for students of JNVs. The new approved rates for mess expenditure on students will be as under:

i)	For JNVs located at other than hard & difficult areas	Rs.675/- per student per month	Rs.6,075/- per student per annum for 9 months
ii)	For JNVs located at hard & difficult areas	Rs.850/- per student per month	Rs.7650/- per student per annum for 9 months.

The revised rates will be applicable w.e.f. 01/07/2007.
