Sub: REQUEST TRANSFERS OF NON-TEACHING STAFF.

Sir/Madam,

Requests are invited from all cadres of non-teaching staff (OS, UDC, Staff Nurse, Catering Assistant, LDC, Storekeeper, Driver, Cook, ECP, Lab Attendant, Chowkidar, Sweeper and Mess Helper ) for Inter Regional Transfers in prescribed proforma given at Annexure – I.

A. ELIGIBILITY

Following category of regular employees will be eligible to apply for these transfers:-

i. Those retiring on or before 31-3-2008 irrespective of their length of stay in the present region/Vidyalaya.

ii. Those regular NVS employees who seek transfer to the Vidyalaya where his/her spouse is working (such employees are eligible to make request for transfer irrespective of length of their stay in the present region).

iii. Those completing 3 years of tenure in the present region as on 30.6.2006 in case of inter regional transfer.

B. ORDER OF TRANSFERS

Transfers of eligible non-teaching employees will be considered in the following order:

i) Employees seeking transfer from Shillong region/Hard Stations.

ii) Inter region transfer requests.

Within each group the order of preference categories will be as under:

Preference Category	Remarks
I	Those retiring on or before 31.3.2008
II	NVS Spouse
III	All remaining employees for Inter Regional Transfer who completed 3 years of service in present region.

The period of stay will be the preference criteria (i.e. one with a longer period of stay will get preference) within each preference category.

C. PREFERENCE FOR POSTING

A list of vacancies likely to be available for various categories of non-teaching staff is appended herewith as Annexure – II. The candidate may indicate five JNVs in order of preference for their posting. It is made clear that submitting application for transfer will not vest any right for transfer which shall be considered keeping in view availability of vacancy and administrative exigencies.

D. CHECK LIST FOR REGIONAL OFFICES

- Requests for Intra regional transfers will be decided by RO concerned strictly as

- Information should be consolidated for inter region transfer requests as per proforma at Annexure – III for different categories of non-teaching staff. Candidates should be arranged on the basis of preference criteria elucidated above.

- This consolidated statement (as per Annexure – III) will be sent to Hqrs along with all the original applications in prescribed profroma (Annexure – I) submitted by non-teaching staff for Inter Regional Transfers, only.

- Regional Office concerned will finalize Intra regional transfer within 15 days after issue of transfer orders of Inter regional transfers as per guidelines.
