Sub:    Remittance of NVS GSLIS Monthly Subscriptions from the financial year 2011-12 to the NVS GSLIS Centralized Unit of NVS Hqrs New Delhi through the concerned regional office -reg

 

Sir/Madam,

 

            I am directed to intimate that the monthly GSLIS subscription in respect of all field units of the Samiti is to be remitted by the NVS GSLIS Centralized Unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi through Concerned Regional Office only from 1st April, 2011. The detailed instructions for remittance of monthly GSLIS subscriptions are as under:

 

 Part- A:  Instructions for Field Units for remittance of GSLIS subscription from financial year 2011-12 & onwards through Concerned Region.

 

1.         Monthly GSLIS subscriptions from March-2011(paid in April) should be remitted to the concerned Region through MICR bank draft in favour of NVS Employees GSLIS A/C payable at City of the concerned Regional Office. The drafts / cheques along-with schedule should not be forwarded directly by the field units to the NVS GSLIS Centralised Unit at Hqrs . A copy of the format of monthly subscription schedule to be used for the remittance of GSLIS subscription to concerned Region is enclosed at Annexure –I-A.

 

2.         The drafts of total amount of GSLIS subscription (along with prescribed schedule) should be reached in the concerned Region positively before 8th of the following month. It is the responsibility of each DDOs/Principals of all Units to ensure the timely remittance of monthly GSLIS subscription (in respect of all regular employees working at each Unit) to their concerned Region.

 

3.         After joining of the employee on regular basis, employee code number must be got (through concerned Regional office only) from NVS Centralised GSLIS unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi by furnishing the particulars of the employees in statement of particulars. A format of Statement of Particulars is enclosed here with as Annexure –II-A.

 

4.         After closing of financial year 2011-12, all field Units will send a consolidated Annual Statement of monthly GSLIS Subscription remitted during the year to the Concerned Regional offices. Total amount of the statement must be tallied with total amount remitted to the Region in the year. A copy of the format of annual statement is enclosed at Annexure-III-A.

Part- B: Instructions for Regional Offices to remit the consolidated amount of monthly GSLIS subscription to NVS GSLIS Centralised Unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi.

 

1.         All Regional Office are hereby requested to open a saving bank account in the name of NVS Employees GSLIS A/C with the nationalized bank for deposit & collection of all drafts of all field units working under your region and intimate the A/C Number, name, address, IFSC/ RTGS/code number of bank etc. to all field units for timely remittance of monthly subscription.

 

2.         The drafts / remittance of total amount of GSLIS subscription in respect of all field units of a Region (along with prescribed schedule) should be reached in the NVS GSLIS Centralized Unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi before 15th of the month positively so that the regular premium payable to the LIC before 25th of the month may be paid by due date.

 

3.         A copy of the format of monthly consolidated subscription schedule to be used for the remittance of total amount of GSLIS subscription to NVS GSLIS Centralized Unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi is enclosed at Annexure-I–B.

 

4.         Regional Office must submit List of defaulter units (along-with consolidated monthly schedule) not remitted the monthly GSLIS subscription in time and the same could not be considered in the consolidated schedule due to its non remittance by the field unit.  A copy of format to submit the details of such defaulter units is enclosed here with as Annexure-II-B.  Reminder for immediate remittance of monthly GSLIS subscription to be issued to all defaulter units by ROs concerned.

 

5.         Regional offices  may further issue instructions / directions to all NVS field units (working under their control) for timely / rightly remittance of the monthly GSLIS subscription, as the delay in remittance of subscription will cause the further payment of regular premium to LIC and it will be resulting to the penalty of interest on the late payment of premium.

 

6.         After closing of financial year, all ROs shall consolidate the NVS GSLIS Subscription Annual Statement for the year and submit the said statement to NVS GSLIS Centralized Unit at NVS Hqrs New Delhi
