Sub. 5 Years Integrated M.Tech Programme at IIIT Bangalore – reg.

 

Sir/Madam,

 

I am to refer the letter dated 12th Jan., 2012 received from the Registrar, International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT), Bangalore, in which it has been informed that the Institute is running a five year integrated M.Tech programme in Informational Technology.  The said integrated course is a five years which is a full time programme and for which all the students who have senior secondary schools (+2) qualification, are eligible.

 

Admission to about 60 students for the Integrated M.Tech. programme is based on the rank obtained obtained in AIEEE 2012 conducted by CBSE.  The programme is residential.  The course fee is Rs.75,000/- per semester and hostel fee, not including boarding, is Rs.36,000/- per year.  The boarding cost will be Rs.3000/- per year.  The students have to apply online at the website of the IIIT-B www.iiitb.ac.in.  The application process is already commenced from 9th Jan., 2012

 

You are requested to invite all the students and those students who are going to appear for AIEEE may be encouraged to apply for this 5 years M.Tech programme.

Sub: Starting of 5 year Integrated M Tech Program at IIITB


Sir,


I am happy to inform that from the academic year 2012-13 IIITB is
starting a 5 year integrated M Tech program in Information Technology.
Integrated M.Tech. Program is a five-year full time and high quality
dual degree program intended for students who have senior secondary
school (plus two) or equivalent qualification. At the end of five
years of the program, successful students get both B.Tech. and M.Tech.
degrees in IT

The International Institute of Information Technology, a Deemed
University , popularly known as IIITB, was established in 1999
through the initiative of Government of Karnataka and IT industry,
with a vision to contribute to the IT world by focusing on world class
education and research, entrepreneurship and innovation in Information
Technology.  Since its inception, IIITB, with its unique model of
education, research, collaboration with reputed Universities in the
world and industry interaction, has grown in stature to become an
institution of considerable repute in academic as well as corporate
circles. Right since inception the Institute has been offering post
graduate programmes. Its flagship two year M Tech programme attracts
best of talent. So far more than 1200 students have graduated from its
portals and all of them are gainfully employed in leading IT companies
of the world. A noteworthy fact is that nearly thirty of its graduates
are now
entrepreneurs who have created new businesses.
