Sub: Interview for the post of PGT (Computer Science).
With reference to your application for appointment to the post of PGT (Computer Science) in the Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti in response to advertisement appeared in Employment News dated December 27-January 2, 2009, you are requested to appear before the Selection Committee for interview at the date & time as mentioned above at following place:-
Kendriya Vidyalaya (Primary Building),
Opp. Secunderabad Club,
Next to Jubilee Bus Stand, Picket,
2. You are requested to produce the following documents at the time of interview:-
i. Original Certificates in support of Educational Qualifications and Date of Birth.
ii. Original Mark sheets of all the years of study in Graduation/Post-Graduation/Bachelor of Education(B.Ed.)/other qualifying diploma etc. clearly indicating subjects offered and marks obtained in each subject during each year of study.
iii. If in the marks sheets for various years names of the subjects offered are not given and in their place only code numbers of subjects are mentioned, in that case the candidates are required to produce a copy of key/certificate issued by the appropriate authority of the concerned University/Board indicating the code numbers along with names of the corresponding subjects.
iv. In case grades are awarded in any examination instead of marks, the candidates are required to produce the formula for conversion of grade into marks duly certified by the authorities of the concerned University/Board.
v. In case you are claiming equivalence of your qualifications with the qualifications notified for appointment, you must bring relevant documents issued by any competent authority like Association of Indian Universities, concerned university/Board n support of your claim.
vi. SC/ST/OBC Certificates in original from the Competent Authority. OBC candidate should bring OBC Certificate only in the prescribed performa, copy of which is enclosed.
vii. In case you belong to physically handicap category, Original Medical Certificate issued by the competent medical authority indicating the extent of handicap must be produced.
viii. One duly attested recent passport size photograph of the candidate.
ix. In case you are claiming age relaxation, you must bring necessary certificate issued by the competent authority in support of your claim.
x. Certificate of experience in teaching in Senior Secondary/Intermediate level as mentioned in your application form, duly counter-signed by the concerned District Education Officer/Other Competent Authority.
xi. Certificate (in original) of participation in sports, indicating the level of participation i.e. State level, National Level etc.
xii. Any other document (in original) pertaining to eligibility for the post, as per laid down criteria of Samiti published in the advertisement.
xiii. NOC from present employer, if applicable.

NOTE-1 : You are also required to submit attested photocopies of each of the above stated documents at the time of interview. You must, therefore, bring one set of attested photocopies of all the above mentioned documents at the time of interview. |

NOTE-2 : You will not be allowed to attend the interview if you fail to produce original certificates, mark-sheets and other documents as mentioned above. |
3. Final selection of candidates for appointment will be made purely on the basis of merit and subject to fulfillment of all conditions for appointment to the post. This interview letter is being issued to you subject to the condition that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria stipulated for this post in the detailed advertisement published in Employment News dated December 27-January 2, 2009. If any of the particulars furnished by you in the application is found incomplete or wrong or you are not fulfilling any of the laid down criteria for the post by cut-off date as stated in the advertisement, or if you are found to have willfully suppressed any material information relevant to the consideration of your case, your candidature will be summarily rejected and you will not be interviewed without prejudice to any other action that may be taken in consequence thereof by the Samiti. In view of these, you must ensure that you possess the requisite qualifications and meet all other eligibility criteria before attending the interview.
4. No request for change in the date or place of interview will be entertained under any circumstances. Samiti reserves the right of postponing or deferring the date of interview. In such an eventuality intimation will be sent to you for which no claims will be entertained against cancellation charges of ticket or otherwise. In addition, you may be required to overstay (by not more than one day), for which you would be required to make your own arrangements at your own expenses.
5. SC/ST candidates will be paid second class rail fare or bus fare from the shortest route from Railway Station/Bus Stand, nearest to their home/place of residence or from where they actually perform the journey (whichever is less) for attending the interview, to the place of interview and back to the same station provided the first 30 Kms in both cases is to be borne by the candidate. Reimbursement will be restricted to the fare in respect of the balance distance, exceeding 30 Kms for onward journey and also for return journey.
