As a Principal of Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bagalur, Bangalore Urban District, I extend hearty welcome to our Vidyalaya Website.Jawahar Navodaya Bagalur, Bangalore Urban has been a proved beacon in providing good citizen to the society and above all good human beings with the help of a dedicated team of teaching and Non-teaching staff members who uses the supreme art to awaken joy among young learners in creative expression and knowledge. Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Bagalur, Bangalore Urban works on student centric approach which offers rewarding educational experiences to all who choose to focus on excellence. It addresses the contemporary needs of the learners by successfully creating a dynamic environment to trigger learning experiences and awakening the natural curiosity of the young minds and thereby facilitating the art of teaching. It aims at the commitments to nurture and equip young learners with the uncommon ability to become confident, sensitive, socially committed and to develop as an all round individuals.

We have regular intra and inter house competitions to enable each child to exhibit their talents in various games and sports , and curricular activities . Our students have participated in various inter school competitions conducted by Go Green, SOF Olympiad and PISA. Our children naturally excel in literary and communication skills. Several gold medals have been secured in a number of All India Art competitions conducted by many famous Art Foundations. Our children have secured several National and State positions in Kannada competitions held recently. To prepare the students to serve the nation whenever needed and to develop the qualities such as truthfulness , leadership , team sprit, cooperation etc. we have NCC unit of 100 students with both senior and junior wings . One of our NCC cadet Master Suhas V Badagi participated in Republic Day Parade last year in New Delhi. To inculcate national integration feeling and to develop secular credentials . We celebrate all religious and national festivals with zeal and vigour.
A special feature of Navodaya Vidyalaya is our policy of migration. We promote national Integration through this policy of migration. Under this policy this year 22 students of IX class have gone to JNV Tikamgarh (MP) and 24 students from JNV Tikamgarh have come to learn in our vidyalaya are well behaved and dedicated. They have joined the mainstream and are happily residing here.
Dakshana Foundation, an NGO has trained nearly 240 rural talented students who got selected through entrance test from the entire Hyderabad Region. These toppers have been given special coaching by Dakshana Foundation.
