About JNV Bijapur
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Bijapur was established on 23rd October, 2017 in accordance with NPE-1986 under the Department of School Education an Literacy, Ministry of HRD, Govt. Of India, after the division of Dantewada into two districts to provide the rural talents with an education equivalent to the best residential school system, without regard to their socio-economic condition. It is affiliated to CBSE. It started with the strength of 58 students (36 boys and 22girls). It is under Raipur cluster in Bhopal Region undre the supervision of honourable Asstt. Commissioner Shri N.K. Patel. The school is running at temporary site in the building of Zilla Panchayat Sansadhan Kendra arranged by the district administration. 23 acres of land for permanent site of the vidyalaya is allotted by the district administration in the village Nukampal which is two kms away from the district Head Quarters towards Geedam.
