Report on
25th Youth Parliament Competition
As per the direction and guidelines received by the NVS RO, Pune, 25th Youth Parliament
Competition was organised by JNV, Dhule on 29" August, 2023 in the Vidyalaya dinning hall.
The competition was organised in a very befitting manner. The ambience of Indian parliament
house was created in the Vidyalaya dinning hall by making decoration and decorum at the
competition venue. As per the rules and regulations of the Youth Parliament Competition, the
honourable judges are the sitting Ex. MLA, one person from the field of education and third one
is well-known person in the field of Indian Politics and having the knowledge of Indian
Constitution and Parliamentarian affairs. Likewise the three judges for the judgment of the
competition were Prof. Sharad Patil, Ex- MLA of Rural Dhule Constituency, tenure 2009 to
2014, Dr. Mnjusha Kshirsagar, the Principal, D.I.E.T, Dhule and Dr. Liladhar Patil HOD,
English Deparument, Dhandai College, Amalner.
At the outset, the invited guest judges were given a warm welcome by the Vidyalaya lezim and
band troops.
The Vidyalaya Principal, Vice Principal and the group of School Staff also greeted the guest
judges.
The music choir welcomed the guests with a tune of welcome song. Mr. Milind Bansode, PGT
English anchored the programme. He welcomed and introduced the guests.
The Vidyalaya Principal honored the respected dignitaries. She then delivered a welcome
address. The Vidyalaya Principal briefed about the organisation of the Youth Parliament
Competition. NVS RO Pune has selected 10 Vidyalayas to organise the competition. 3 best JNVs
will be selected out of 10 JNVs. 3 best JNVs will again perform for regional level meet at JNV,
Mahisagar.
Mr. S.S.Patil, TGT So. Science teacher and Mr. P.G.Walke, PGT History exerted on all the
participant students to fully prepare for the youth parliament competition in a befitting manner.
Mr. S.S. Patil also elaborately explained the deliberations behind organising such a competition
of youth parliament.
Then the real proceeding of the Competition began with the proper decorum of the Indian
Parliament.
The total 55 students Participated in this Competition.
The competition began with the oath taking ceremony of newly elected members of parliament
from various constituencies and condolences of sad demise of other members of the parliament.
All the activities and functionaries of the house such as question hours, presentation of bills,
asking questions by opposition party members and within ruling party members and replies to
the questions complaints were conducted ina very befitting manner that all the audience was
spellbound.
Each and every participant student played his and her role to the full justice. Especially the roles
of the Speaker, Home Minister, Law Minister and Opposition party leaders and members were
acted in a tuctual manner.
The entire competition was only for $5 minutes. But all the audience was experiencing the
sequence of events in the real parliamentarian house. The latest bill of'Common Civil Code' and
the burning issue of price hike of life essential commodity like tomatoes' were presented in
realistie ways.
As sOon as the functionury of the Youth Parliament Competition was adjourned, it means the
competition was finished, a huge applause was given by all the audience.
The honourable judges were invited to express their views over the competition.
Mr. Liladhar Patil. HOD, English Dept. Dhandai College Amalner expressed his responses to the
observation and judgment of the competition. He is a learned person of Indian Constitution,
politics and social reforms. He praised all the participant students. He said that Navodaya talent
will be seen in real parliament house in future.
The second judge Dr. Manjusha Kshirsagar, Prinicpal D.l.E.T., Dhule, got happiness that the
majority of the women participant students is in a more members. She said that ministers of
home aftairs, law ministry and petroleum substance presented their roles in a very impressive
manner.
Prof. Sharad Patil, Ex MLA, Rural Dhule Constituency (during 2009 to 2014) admired all the
participant students of the competition. He took the special names of participant students who
performed their roles in a befitting manner. He is the person of original experiences of the
assembly hall. He minutely observed the competition and guided the students for some minute
parliamentarian and assembly businesses. He shared his own experiences as being a politician &
member of legislative assembly. He told about the decorum and piousness of the constitutional
houses. He finally praised, congratulated and blessed the students for their bright future success.
The complete programme lasted for two and halfhours. The videography and the photography of
the entire youth parliament competition is made. Total 10 best performing students were selected
by the respected judges of the competition. Overall result of the competition is 92.33% out of
100.
The programme was finally concluded with proposing vote of thanks towards all dignitaries by
Vice Principal of the Vidyalaya, Mr. V.B. Vaidya.
