Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Ghot is established in 1986-87. It is 55 Km away from Gadchiroli Head Quarter. Gadchiroli District is located in North-Estern Maharashtra which is well known red corridor zone affected by Naxal activities & dense forest Trible Population is more & the Ratio of Illiteracy is less.
Still total vidyalaya campus is in forest area, the NOC from forest department optained recently in the month of December 2022 but still the construction work of Phase II and balanced work of Phase I was not completed. No boundary wall to the vidyalaya then also school is running smoothly. Wild animals are frequently coming in vidyalaya campus.
The nearest Railway Station from J.N.V. Ghot is Ballarsha which is 90 Km. & nearest Air port is Nagpur 250 km. from J.N.V. Ghot Dist Gadchiroli.
