Cleanliness is next to  Godliness is central to all the activities of JNV, Mundali, Cuttack. Students and staff are dedicated to the cause of cleanliness in and outside the vidyalaya. Swachhata Pakhawada was organized in the vidyalaya. The segregation of waste material into bio-degradable and non-biodegradable, creation of compost, use of compost in plantation of trees in vidyalaya campus are practiced all along. Water storage & cleaning of water tanks from time to time are undertaken so as to ensure the use of quality water and avoid wastage of water in the vidyalaya.
