About JNV DIBRUGARH
Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Dibrugarh which was started on 16-08-1994 is a residential co-educational institution. The Vidyalaya is located at Doomar Dalang, 4 kilometers away from Moranhat, 40 Kilometers away from Dibrugarh Town, 55 KM away from Mohanbari Air Port, Dibrugarh. It is a 21st century eco friendly smart school.
In pursuance of National Policy on Education, 1986, the Government of India have set up Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti as an autonomous organization to establish pace-setting institutions called Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas’ to provide opportunities to the children with special talent and aptitude from all section of population to proceed at faster pace than others. These Vidyalayas are residential and co-educational in character meant to serve the objective of excellence coupled with equity to promote national integration.
