Dear friends Greetings from the JNV Jhabua-I Family

I am so much grateful towards the NVS authorities to provide me an  opportunity to serve with rural talented children of tribal district of Jhabua (MP) .

Now a days, the role of school is not only to pursue academic excellence but also to motivate and empower its students to be lifelong learners, critical thinkers and productive stakeholders of an ever-changing global society. In the year 1986 our former prime minister late Mr. Rajiv Gandhi introduces a vision to transform the education level of rural talented children of country. The school that is being run under the aegis of Ministry of Human Resource Development under the able administration of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti .

At  JNV Jhabua 1 we provide an atmosphere to our talented students for multidirectional development ,where these rural children   are encouraged to channelize their potential in the pursuit of excellence . This can only possible in a holistic, student-centric environment. The school is striving hard to make the best possible efforts to inculcate strong values combining with academics and Co curricular activities in the children.

Education is a life-long learning process. Learning happens all the time; not only in a pre-designated place called the school. It happens in the home, between home and school too.  Being residential set up students feels in their dormitories like home away home the home’s and school’s mission therefore is to provide a learning environment and opportunities to the children as the learners.

Shaping young, impressionable minds is one of life’s biggest challenges. At JNV Jhabua-I , we aim to empower our students to grow as individuals with strong open discerning minds with an international perspective, preparing them to make a mark in the global society .

The School by deepening a sense of wonder, reverence, creativity, fidelity, communication, openness and charity to each other and to the whole world seeks to work for the transformation of the complete person.

We strive to provide an environment that is basically sacred, and has a framework of discipline that is flexible yet supportive, a freedom that allows students to learn even from their mistakes, to develop into person moulded by the correlatives of freedom and responsibility.

The practical experience of learning enables our children to leave our Class rooms daily with either something in their hand, something in their mind and especially something in their heart.

The Vidyalaya is committed to fulfil the vision and objectives of Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti with the help and support of all stakeholders.

The parents are the most strengthening power in moulding the future of children here most of the time this role is played by our dedicated teachers as House masters, Class Teachers and as subject teachers. Their consistent support empowers management to do more and more for the well being of the students and society. I am confident enough that the JNV Jhabua1 will develop as assets of society
