JAWAHAR NAVODAYA VIDYALAYA

Jaawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Chhan, Tonk was inaugurated on 20/07/1998 in a temporary building in Ameerpue Kheda. The first Principal of the school was Dr, vashishtha Sharma. The school was shifted to its present location on 16/10/1989 at the time of Principal Harprasad Dwivedi. Till 1992 the school had mini migration from other JNVs. Science stream for class XII starte in 1995-96 and Humanities in 1996-97. From that day onwords the school has been creating new milestones not only in academics but in sports, CCA and pace setting activities. It has come forward as a leading organization and model school for whole district. Students from the school have been selected in IITs, Medical Colleges and in Administrative services consistently. In session 2008-09 two rooms were constructed with monitory help of MP Fund. 80mtr, CC road was constructed with the help of chairman VMC in the yeart 2013-14.
